You have probably reached this page because your email was blocked when trying to send it to a customer of LCR Computer Services, Inc. It's nothing personal! We maintain our own private RBL (relay block list) server and your email server is blocked because it's ip address is in our RBL server's database. This is also called blacklisting.

First of all, for us to assist you, please forward the failure message to
blacklist-admin@mail2.lcrcomputer.net or fax it to 815 337-9845. That failure message will contain all the technical information for us to quickly find the log entries in our mail server logs and investigate what happened. Without that information, the search will take longer and will delay your ability to send email to our customers.

January 8, 2008 - Effective immediately, all email sent to
blacklist-admin@mail2.lcrcomputer.net is now being screened using a Friends system(aka Challenge/Response). When you send an email to blacklist-admin, you will get a reply asking that you confirm you sent your email. By simply replying to that message, your message will be released to us and we will review it as soon as possible. This was forced on us because of the volume of spam being directed to that email account.

Why did our mail server get blocked? There are many reasons for that to happen. And if it happened over four weeks ago, we can only guess as to why. Because of the volume of spam, we can only keep records for a very short time.

Once we get a copy of the failure message, either by emailing it to
blacklist-admin@mail2.lcrcomputer.net or faxing it to 815 337-9845, we will investigate and let you know what we determined. We can usually respond in less than one business day when it's emailed. But when we are busy, faxed requests can take longer for us to care for. If we decide to clear the ip address, it can take up to an hour for the database to sync with our RBL server.

Even though you may not be the IT or computer person for your company or email provider, if we find what we think is a problem with your mail server, we will forward what information we have about the problem back to you. Please forward this information to the person responsible for your email services for corrective action. It will be in your best interests to follow up on this information as other email providers will block your email for the same reasons we did.

In some cases, we may not know why we blocked the ip address because it happened so long ago and we will merely inform you that we have cleared the ip address in our RBL database and within an hour after we notify you, you will be able to resend your email to our customer.
